Transasia sponsored 'A tribute to the poetry of Gulzar' in aid of Thalassemic Children
Mumbai, June 2014: As a part of its corporate social responsibility, Transasia Bio-Medicals Ltd. sponsored a Fund Raising Musical Concert, in aid of Thalassemic children, titled a Tribute to the poetry of Gulzar. Well-known as one of Indias finest film makers, lyricist and exemplary poet, Gulzar is known for his romantic and melancholic compositions. From its inception Transasia Bio-Medicals Ltd., has consciously chosen, 'Making a meaningful contribution to Society' as one of its key and essential goal. Powered with passion and dedication towards social causes, it has been successful in igniting a revolution in clinical diagnostics across the length and breadth of India.
Transasia has actively engaged and partnered with several NGOs and has undertaken various initiatives to enhance healthcare and actively promote social causes in India.
Prominent doctors and Transasia invitees from the medical fraternity came in large numbers, showing their zeal and fervor, supporting the cause of patients suffering from this genetically inherited blood disorder. Held at Kashinath Ghanekar Auditorium, at the prime Hirandani Meadows, in the beautiful lake city of Thane, the audience was treated to some beautiful and melodious compositions of Gulzar, which was meted out by professional singers along with their troupe. Organized by Triumph Foundation, the charitable trust of the Rotary Club of Thane Hills, boasts of a state-of-the-art blood bank and a day care centre for Thalassemic children.
