Case 1: A 14-year-old girl complained of pain in the shoulder for 1 year. Physical examination revealed some muscle wasting.

Case 2: A 60-year-old woman had had pain in the knee for 16 years. An x-ray done initially was called an infarct. Pain has become worse recently.

Case 3: A 16-year-old girl, a gymnast, complained of pain in the shin. It was suspected to be a stress fracture.

Case 4: A 34-year-old woman had a recurrent tumor in the tibia for 9 years. Now she has a soft tissue mass behind the knee.

Case 5: A 75-year-old man had pain in the knee. A needle biopsy had been diagnosed as osteosarcoma.

Case 6: A 12-year-old boy presented with pain in the shoulder.

Case 7: An 8-year-old boy had pain in the lower leg for 8 months.

Case 8: A 66-year-old man had been known to have a lesion in the pubis for 7 years.

Case 9: A 7-year-old boy had complained of pain and swelling in the arm for 2 years. It was worse for 5 months.

Case 10: A 49-year-old woman complained of pain in both shoulders for 2 months. She had prior breast carcinoma.

Case 11: A 57-year-old man had radiation therapy for malignant lymphoma of tibia 16 years previously. He developed a sinus tract which had become more painful recently.

Case 12: A 76-year-old man had sinus tract with osteomyelitis for 30 years. Recently it had become painful.
