HISTORY:
A thirty five year old man presented with a gradually increasing swelling of the left side of the cheek of five months duration. He had been newly detected to be HIV positive.. On examination there was bilateral cervical and axillary lymphadenopathy. CT scan showed a lytic lesion in the left side of the maxilla with destruction of the outer cortex and an extraosseous soft tissue mass. Section from the mass.
