Case 7 HISTORY: 37 male. 5-mos left-sided hearing loss and tinnitus .MRI and audiogram suggest acoustic schwannoma.Surgically, tumor originated in tentorium and extended into CP angle .Subtotal excision . Initial diagnosis: “malignant epithelial neoplasm consistent with metastatic carcinoma”.No systemic lesions found despite total body imaging Stereotactic irradiation of tumor bed performed .Six mo F/U. “Drop metastases” throughout spinal leptomeninges .L5-S1 laminectomy: largest deposit debulked RoRx including radiosurgery to CP angle. Whole brain and spinal irradiation. No chemoRx.
