I received 14 replies which were as follows..
Strumal carcinoid - Four replies
Struma ovari with papillary carcinoma - Five replies
Benign teratoma with thyroid tissue and ? granulosa cell tumor - One
Struma with Yolk-asc tumor - One
Struma ovari - Two
Malignant teratoma with mixed pattern - One

We at AILM made a diagnosis of
STRUMA OVARI WITH PAPILLARY CARCINOMA OF TALL CELL TYPE.

Fig A (Gross) shows colloid areas reminiscent of thyroid gland.

Figs B-E show thyroid tissue with colloid filled follicles.

Fig F shows rather tall cells with abundant granular cytoplasm. The height of these cells exceeds twice their width and hence they would qualify for the description of being "Tall". The granular cytoplasm supports this.

In fig G, the rounded structures are in fact cut sections of hair shafts. I could not get a better area for demonstration of teratoma component (my apologies).

Jayaram.
