Case 22

HISTORY: Patient 28 yr male. Presented with bilateral inguinal lymphadenopathy. On examination, firm matted lymph node mass in bilateral groins. Inguinal lymph node biopsy was sent. He also has cervical and axillary lymph node enlargement. Past history of similar illness three years back.

Microscopic examination reveals lymph node replaced by microgranulomas with more than occasional Langhan's giant cells, scattered eosinophiles and compressed lymphoid tissue in the periphery. No areas of caseation necrosis is seen.
